2016-today: Director of the 2nd PEK of Athens.
2016-today: President of the Hellenic Committee of Geomorphology and Environment of the Geological Society of Greece.
2014: Sabbatical, duration 4 months (01/04/14-31/07/14) at Laboratoire de Géographie Physique, CNRS, Paris.
2014-today: Associate Professor on the subject "Geomorphology and Geographic Information Systems".
2013: Award from the Academy of Athens for work promoting the geological knowledge of the Greek region, entitled: "Evidence of a recent rapid subsidence in the S-E Cyclades (Greece): an effect of the 1956 Amorgos earthquake?". According to the Academy of Athens, the paper represents a high level of scientific research, which contributes to the knowledge of a significant geological event of the recent past.
2013: Award from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) for the administrative and economic management of the Intensive Programme "Runoff Erosion", that took place in 2012.
2010: Reviewer of proposals in the framework of the Open Call of National Action "Cooperation". Funding: Special Department of Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs.
2009-2014: Assistant Professor in Geomorphology and Geoinformation, Department of Geology and Geoenvironment, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
